Friday’s the end of the week
And the thirteenth as Friday seems bleak,
But I didn’t know
It’s the thirteenth and so
Nothing happened. My monsters stayed meek.

I like that the monsters stayed quiet and only because you didn’t care about them talking 😀

Thanks, Wandering Soul! It is best not to give monsters an excuse to cause trouble.

Forgetting it’s Friday 13th is always best, otherwise some sort of universal causality comes into play and things go wrong 🙂
Nice limerick!

Thanks, draliman! Not being aware helps avoid any placebo or, in the case of Friday the 13th, any nocebo effect.

Great limerick! In my family we have a saying ‘it’s unlucky to be superstitious’ so I totally agree with this!

Thanks, kristwrites! I can see how anticipating that something bad might happen that one can’t do anything about may have the same effect as a placebo or nocebo in a medical situation. So, I agree it is probably unlucky to be superstitious.
