If I should see an angel on a dish
About the size of any mid-sized fish,
I hope I’d be inclined to hesitate
Before I eat what’s on that dinner plate.
But knowing me I might not even see
How wondrous to some connoisseur she’d be.
I’d lift my fork until I met her eyes
And recognize my Lover’s new disguise.

This is whimsical and fun, made me smile

I have a primitive sort of bike which is all I need and sometimes I take it to the Forest Preserve where there are trails that go for miles.

I would so love to do that! My bike can go in the woods on dirt and gravel paths but it’s no mountain bike. You would love the Bay Trail, Frank. It’s just as awesome as the woods but I love all the nature.

Delightful, easy to read and understand. That’s how I like poems to be.
