My mind is out of reach
Like water leaves a lake until
It runs upon some beach.
It wants that sand on solid land.
It’s carried back from shore
To circle and not understand
Why it does not need more.

I don’t need more than this one poem, Frank! This was beautiful and went with the image so well. I like that nature needs (or has) no thoughts about what it does, it just does it. I think your poem makes perfect sense it’s very good.
