Any blessing we receive
May it pass on from us to you.
Every blessing should conceive
A future blessing if it’s true.
So with passing may we leave
You hope to manifest what’s new.
Forgive what we did not get right.
Arise. Be blessed with holy light.

This is wonderful Frank. A paying it forward theme opens up the direction of Blessings in all ways.

That Holy Light ending is uplifting. Love these lines:

I also like the forgiveness…it is oft under-rated and yet such a blessing in itself.

The best blessing one can give another is forgiveness. I agree. Thanks, Alison!

Yup, pay it forward, encourage the blossoming, the continuum, & be kind to first thy self, as well as love, so that you have the tender fortitude to promulgate both.

The only point of getting a blessing is to give it away, a kind of service. Thanks, Glenn!

Thanks, Victoria! I am glad you liked that line about the light. The holy light is the only blessing one needs and needs to pass on.

Thank you! I figure the poem might as well be positive. The negative would only make me search for the positive harder.

To be able to pass on the peace or happiness we feel must be wonderful.

Sometimes we don’t feel much peace or happiness. I suppose we should pass whatever we can on anyway. Thanks, Jane!

i love this idea of passing blessings from one to another. yes, we must share!

Sharing magnifies them and it is hard not to share them. It’s as difficult as cheerfulness staying with the cheerful person. Forgiveness is more difficult. Thank you, Stacy!
