What’s tiny has its point of view.
It casts a lovely shadow, too.
Although we won’t be here for long
While here we’re both each moment new.

You have a good eye, my friend. You’re right – it’s all about that shadow; it looks like a tall woman in a formal gown with perfectly coiffed hair. Mindful words to fit the moment you have captured in time.

The shadow was the only reason I posted the picture, but I didn’t realize why it was so intriguing until you commented. It does look like “a tall woman in a formal gown with perfectly coiffed hair” as you mentioned. Thanks for that observation!

It was your words – Lovely Shadow – that tipped me off.

That shadow is perfection. I see what Jilly means, it does look just like what she described. Nice write.

Thanks, Lynn! I am glad you liked that shadow. I now see it as the shadow of a woman after Jill’s comment.

Thank you, Janice! I remember thinking I liked the shadow even more then the insect, although the insect had a beautiful bluish “tail” or whatever it is called.

Well the shadow magnifies the insect…helps you see its shapes…
