I agree that Chappie is a parody of what we think we are. As a movie I liked “Ex Machina” better. There the machine did what it was told to do without empathy, but faking empathy as it was programmed to do until it accomplished its goal. It is interesting that those doctors did not realize that you could heal yourself. It seems they assume only they can make change happen.
