This funk I feel will heal somehow.
The textures of my mind are strange,
But they will change and even now
I feel those textures rearrange.
I’d rather think the world’s sublime
Than whine about each little thing.
I’d rather waste my time with rhyme
Than worry that I cannot sing.

I really like this one, Frank. It is very uplifting.

Wow, I absolutely love the poem. And that green swirl looks like a moss and stone wave. Beautiful post, Frank, thanks for sharing.

It is moss over a dead, overturned tree stump in the forest preserve, but it looks to me like a stone wave as well. Thanks, Dale!

Gotta love the message and the meter is spot-on. Good one, Frank.

Thank you, Victoria! This one took a couple days to get the meter and message right. I am glad you liked it.

Hi Frank. Love the reference to textures of the mind. Your visual textures are wonderful also. 🙂

Thank you, Olga. The textures of our minds aren’t always pleasant but in most cases they are not always bitter either.

I love this, the textures in the photos and the poem, and the practical application at the end. Textures fascinate me and can be a good positive distraction.

Now that you mention it, they are a good, positive distraction, something to delight in. Thank you, JoAnna!
