Vita Brevis Holiday Competition Winners

Vita Brevis announced three winners for their holiday competition.  My poem, “Christmas”, is one of them.

Although it is still new, it is already one of my favorite sites for poetry.

    1. I’m glad you liked mine, Peter! I can imagine there are many poems that were not selected that are excellent. I hope no one is discouraged by not winning. Not winning is an opportunity to use the poem elsewhere. I usually don’t win contests, but I keep resubmitting the poems I still like perhaps with some revisions. Submitting also helps the organization holding the contest whether one wins or not. Vita Brevis has published many poems I’ve enjoyed since its beginning a few weeks ago.
