Theory helps our minds to see.
There’s order in the air.
In the sky objectively
Birds are flying there.
Blue is everywhere.

I wonder if we can see objectively… but we are sensitive to blue.

It occurred to me after writing the poem that the sky looks more green than blue in the image, but I like blue as well. Thanks, Kim!

I thought it was intentional that you drew attention to the fact that the sky is usually blue…in reality.

It was intentional. The reality is the event of seeing a blue sky. It is an abstraction to separate the event of seeing into an objective and subjective part if I understand Whitehead’s position on process which I might not. Thanks, Jane!

I am still trying to figure out the logic behind these ideas, but a belief in order is reassuring. Thank you, Laura!

I like the idea of the being /order i n the air/–somehow hovering over the chaos and sadness of nuclear threat, the demise of democracy, and the wounding of the media.

Perhaps all was well in her mind, flying birds and blue sky. She does appear to be somewhat distracted

A vivid sign of hope indeed, Frank, those birds in flight in a blue sky. A sign that even Sleeping Beauty awakens. Wonderful!

There may be a V of birds flying, or the single bird of prey here and there (theory, order), but to me, the vast quality of sky will always be blue (wonder, mystery.)

order in the air is such a good description on how birds know their fly route and way home after long journeys. I love looking at the sky and taking photos, there’s order in the universe when the sky is blue, few words but very moving words Frank, lovely!
