Text: Linked to dVerse Meeting the Bar. I am hosting today featuring the tanaga form. This form has four-line stanzas with seven syllables per line. It also permits varied rhyme patterns. For the challenge the only requirement is to construct a poem inspired by the tanaga form. It need not be an actual tanaga.

That first photo was taken on a mountain near Pikes Peak. There were stairs to walk up called the “Manitou Incline”. That was the trail going down. Thanks, Walter.

They were taken a few years ago near or at Colorado Springs where our daughter lives. It is on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. Thank you, Amaya!

Yes, I thought it looked like the red paths you will find in a narrow band all along the Front Range, or the geological “fountain formation.” The Garden of the Gods is one place you will see this. I live about an hour and a half south of there:)
