What’s wild is very peaceful–
Silent flowing grace.
It isn’t all that civilized,
But with sure eyes we’d be surprised
To see a loving face.

Beautiful landscape. Congrats! Yours is a very peaceful and orderly wilderness. It doesn´t contain elements of violence.

I assume there is violence somewhere, but most of the time it seems very peaceful. Thank you, Danik!

Being wild can also be in a peaceful manner! It need not be hideous and destructive. Agreed Frank!

Wild has that confidence of the final two lines. A knowing without thinking so. Lovely.

I think wild, is simply a place for wild things, and probably not for us. A nice place to visit, but wouldn’t want to live there.

I don’t live in the wild either. I only visit to recover peacefulness. Thank you, Annell!

Frank, you’ve captured the oxymoron of living in the wild….as in nature, camping, the woods….those are the calm places. In the midst of humanity, that is many times living in the wild.

Lovely, Frank. It is peaceful to be in the wilderness (unless you’re prey). 😉

From my perspective and the paths I take there are only mosquitoes to worry about and then only during certain times of the year. But I do carry a phone and extra battery just in case something happens, so I’ve got civilization in my hand or pocket. Thank you, Merril!
