Copper, Silver and Gold

Bright and Shiny

Instead of coins, the shiny kind,
Give me trees to calm my mind.
Instead of gold or silver please
Remember me in forest breeze.

  1. A lovely poem. I’m wondering about the final line though. Should it be ‘the forest breeze’? But then you have that extra syllable, I guess.

      1. Reading it this morning, the last line is confusing. I am not sure what I intended to say. I don’t like being cryptic especially when I don’t even understand it. Thanks for calling my attention to that last line, Ronnie.
