Innocence

Focusing on One of Them

Connected by a daisy chain
Fragile bonds release the pain
That separates us. Now we know
With innocence fresh love may grow.

Forgiveness brightened up the dark
And drove the shadows from the park
Where daisies dance, wind blown, and we
Are bonded, blessed with empathy.

  1. You worked those daisies like chorus girls, shaking their sequins until petals fell off. You gently rocked the prompt and fully explored innocence.

  3. I like your theme of innocence and forgiveness. When innocence is lost, forgiveness, though often difficult to give, is a good remedy to brokenness.

  4. Frank, this is like an ode to joy – I experienced the joy of compassion, of healing through forgiveness, and of the grace and humanness that bonds us in empathy. Thank you, this is an outstanding contribution to #ForgivingFridays. I love the different creative mediums here, photography (beautiful photos) & audio & text. Thank you. Blessings, Debbie

  5. I love this post of yours, Frank. There is a softness to it in the reading…especially when I read it aloud. I’ve always found daisies to be an “innocent” and fress looking flower….daily chain workds perfectly here.
