Right here, right now, this steady place
Is where I get to see your face.
There’s nowhere I would rather be.
Where else would I feel more like me?
What fancy blooms our Spring put on!
Quick! Late Summer’s grace will soon be gone.
Linked to dVerse Quadrille. De Jackson (aka WhimsyGizmo) hosts at dVerse and the word for the quadrille is “quick”.

Wonderful Frank. I like your use of the word quick and the warning that soon summer’s grace will be gone.

Summer did seem to pass so quickly. We still have warm weather but tomorrow it is supposed to drop by about 30 degrees F. And still a lone cricket in our veggie garden hopes.

Frank, I can feel summer quickly ending in the last line. The second photo is quite unique – I like it!

That second photo is a picture of water in a fountain. The screen below is deformed by the waves which reflect light in those brush-like shapes. Thank you, Truedessa!

right here right now this steady place – Frank this gives me an awareness that nature has a certain predictability we humans really depend on

We do depend upon its predictability that allows us enough freedom to move and be grateful. Thank you, Gina!
