I wink and then it all goes real.
The former dreams now make me feel
Like everything was there to heal.
I fantasize a pleasant way
To whisper happiness to you.
I send you dreams of every day
So wilder daydreams may come true.

So far, thank goodness, out here on the trail, I have not encountered any “hoodwinks” or tiddly-winks. Wonderful prompt, and you are one of many sending a message of hope. I gather it all gratefully, molding a glob(e) of hope to sustain me tomorrow.

Another generous poem, Frank. I’ve noticed that your poems are often about giving.

That may be the case. I hadn’t really thought about it as giving before, but it seems to fit. Thank you, Jane!

They are two separate poems. The 44 word constraint pushed them together. Thank you, Linda!

Nicely done Frank. They could be two poems but I like to read it as one stanza…like an intimate letter or conversation.
