Touch

Morning Snow

Forgiveness brings the softest touch
Yet smashes walls to let in light.
We throw away the leper’s crutch.
The snow that bothered us so much
Now sparkles like bright stars of night.

Linked to dVerse Poetics where Sarah is hosting with the theme of “touch”. I am also linking to Debbie Roth’s Forgiving Fridays.

  1. You had me at how /touch smashes walls and lets in light/. I continue to envy your brevity. I’m just such a story teller that my poetics run deep and long.

  2. Frank what a beautiful poem! To me, I’m aware of how the gentle touch of forgiveness helps us stand fully in the Light of who we truly are. The audio really moved me. Your voice is so kind and clear. 🙂 The other thing I’m aware of is how when we forgive, the power of this simple act is transformational. Thank you for that, and for contributing this for #ForgivingFridays! Blessings, Debbie
