Is it snowing where you are, Frank?

It was yesterday, but only briefly in the morning. The photo was from about a week ago–first snow of winter. Today all of the snow is gone.

The snow in Portland, OR is also brief. We were happy to have a white Christmas when visiting my daughter. The snow was gone in a couple days.

I’ve been to Seattle and the ocean and mountains may keep it warmer than the Chicago area.

Yes, I think so. I live in Portland for two years and Seattle for one year and I did the master degrees. I surely like the ocean and many lakes in Oregon.

Frank, I think Robbie would like to invite you to review some poetry books (see her poetry FB page). If you would like to do that and would like to review mine, I could send you the PDF, or gift you my book, or if you have Kindle Unlimited, you could download my book Songs of Heartstrings. 🙂 I just got someone who is interested in doing audio for me. 🙂

I have a copy of your book, Miriam, and I am planning a review for Amazon which should be done by the end of this month. I also have Robbie’s, but I haven’t started reading her book yet. I will check out her facebook page.

Thank you so much, Frank to have my book and plan on doing the review. She has some enthusiastic responses for reviewing each others’ books.

Lived in sort-of-rural Indiana in the 70’s. These delightful haiku were so graphic–a poet’s keen skills of observation so evident.
