Magic of Ordinary Things

Magical Sunrise

They're in the shadow of my day,
Although if I but look around
And see them in the light they’ve found -
We share that one light in some way.
It’s just a shift, a step or two,
That lets me turn to look at you.

  1. Lovely Frank, something goes not have to be tangible to create magic in our lives. You have captured a most stunning moment, when light and darkness switch places, a silent agreement between two powerful forces of nature, and we stop in wonder each time we are allowed to witness such beauty. This is the real ordinary magic. Really loved your take on this ordinary magic.

  2. Oh Frank, I love this poem and photo! For me, I got the oneness of sharing the Light (even if it may look different outwardly), as well as the profound power of seeing someone fully simply by shifting a step or two. Forgiveness is that step.

Blessings to you, Frank! I’ll share this for #ForgivingFridays. Hope you had a wonderful holiday. Love, Debbie
