Past Regrets and Future Song

Morning Again

My resolution for those tears now past
Are that the present day may rise and bring
Forgiveness. May regrets not yearn to last,
But let the fearful future learn to sing.

  1. The last line–the last line is killer , a poem in itself. I like the hopefulness I’m encountering out here on the trail. 2019 looms large and shining.

  2. Oh, Frank this is a wonderful poem! To me, you express such compassion and nurturing for our past hurts …. and the power of forgiveness to open to the future. What once seemed scary can sing in joy. 🙂 I love your contributions, Frank. They make me look at forgiveness in a different way. This is a gift! Thank you, I’ll share this tomorrow.
Happy New Year~all the best to you,
