The Spirit of Rain

Coming sprinkles from the clouds

The Sun is raining down on me
To warm the watery mystery
That also sometimes likes to fall
To
change from clouds pressed over all.
Formerly that greedy cloud
Darkened, thundering out-loud -
What lovely gifts we freely get.
Some come dry. Some are wet.

  1. Beautiful photograph. It amazes me how much “water” can change – from the ocean tides and “moods” to mist and rain. A summer sprinkling, a spring storm… etc. It’s all beautiful… And that refreshing feeling like I get in your bottom photo! Nice post.
