Mysterious Things

Orange Sunrise

Mysterious things
That soft, cool light brings -
Be true.
With silent, sure wings
My memory swings.
Renew.
Take care.  Poison flings
With doubt as it springs.

Dark fear creeps and clings.
The shrill discord rings.
Be kind.
Forgive. There joy kings
The lovebird who sings
To find
That  soft, cool light brings
Mysterious things.

    1. I am glad that it sounded like her poetry. I have often wanted to imitate her style but I could not get the surprise effect that I felt when reading her poetry. Thank you, Danik!

  1. I really love this poem and it has inspired me to write a similar form of lai. There is softness, brightness and the need to be compassionate when negativity or poison arises. Mysterious and mystical.

  2. “Soft Cool Light” Brings
A Feel and Sense to me as Easy
Love the Way that Nature Springs
Gently Flowering into Bloom in no Particular
    Hurry but
    to Color
    Nature
    More
    Gradually
    Each Day Reaching
out to the Sun and in
    Gratitude Flowering even more…:)
