Diaphanous

Veil of Ferns
When veils are down then we may meet
The overlying mystery
Unless we’re busy frantically
Ignoring what was there to see.

Linked to K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge with the theme to pick one of the three words: “seraphic, diaphanous or immutable”. I picked diaphanous although I’m not sure what it means.

Veil of Trees

I enjoy walking, poetry and short prose as well as taking pictures with my phone.

  1. Diaphanous usually refers to a semi translucent dress that is very showy and it’s the kind of thing that you wear to a ball. It’s occasion wear that flaunts your figure while at the same time keeping your body covered up.
