Leaving vengeance to the Lord
Helps me to forgive
And His mercy moving toward
Us helps us both to live.

  1. It’s amazing how often “God’s vengeance” turns out to be extravagant mercy. Yes…leaving the vengeance up to God is a good idea, because we all deserve vengeance and have been blessed with grace! God bless!

  2. Frank, what a lovely poem on the grace of letting go and letting God. My spiritual mentor has a great quote something like “To find the peace within, look for the good in all people and things and all the rest leave to God.” I love your presence on WordPress, you bring love to this community––and to Forgiving Fridays! Blessings to you, Frank.

I plan to do a post tomorrow morning, so I’ll share this then.
