Strength

Tennessee
Alone my strength is weakness,
Like mist to fog the mind.
Through fresher eyes I realize
I’ve wandered with the blind.

The trees in morning sunrise
Stand tall to smile in rain.
The waters show from down below
Spring calm will come again.

  1. To me your text suggest that to gain real calm, your eyes must be open to the real world. That´s an interesting point of view. Beautiful landscapes, the serenity of the second one never seems to have been disturbed by garbage or pollution.

    1. Good point – real calm comes from being open to the real world. I am glad you liked the photos. They were taken at a beautiful part of Tennessee. Thank you, Danik!

  2. Such pretty pictures. I love how the green slopes down to the water. You are so right about how we need each other but we need others that will help us be the best version of ourselves that we can be. If you’re slumming in the fog, you’ll never get the clarity of a clean view. Your photos complement your poetry.
