That tree is amazing–cool photo, Frank. I like your triolet and when I wrote mine years ago when Samuel did the prompt, I think I didn’t do the meter thing either. It confuses me! But I think in yours, mercy and gratitude win over the devil always.

Lewis has another tale, The Great Divorce, about ghosts in hell visiting heaven and given a chance to stay if they want to. No devils in that one, but similar kind of characters.
