Impermanence

See how water tests the shore
Teasing its resistance,
Resistance to becoming more.
See how water tests the shore?
Be the change that you’re made for.
Change with fresh persistence.
Be like water. Test the shore.
Tease away resistance.

Morning Water From the Shore

I enjoy walking, poetry and short prose as well as taking pictures with my phone.

  1. Water carves canyons and sculpts sea stacks. It also batters beaches and floods lowlands. With global warming in effect, I think Water has a lot more to prove.

  2. You’ve captured the waves beautifully in your triolet, Frank. I love the phrase ‘water tests the shore / Teasing its resistance’ and the idea of ‘resistance to becoming more’.
