Oblivious—Ovi Poetry Challenge

Oblivious to words of fear
that demons whisper in my ear
I follow words I long to hear
which flow from deeper joy.

We’ve sought the Lord so we shall find.
We live and move beyond the mind.
His peace is quite the holy kind
of finally coming home.

  1. This is a great poem, Frank–my fave line is “We’ve sought the Lord so we shall find.” It’s such a powerful confident declaration! Indeed it is so–and I’ll be reminding myself of it often now. Thank you!
