Frequency—Six Sentence Story

With a frequency that annoyed Steve, Brian would tell him, “You better get whatever you were supposed to do done before the world ends.”

“The world’s not going to end,” Steve responded one afternoon putting his attention back on the game which his team was winning.

“You never know,” Brian countered.

“I know.”

“You don’t.”

And just like that, to the surprise of both Steve and even Brian, the world ended.

  1. True and good advice but few read the Bible or even see the signs. It is as Jesus predicted it would be and bless you Frank for this warning and reminder! Dan

  2. I loved that it was a surprise to both!

“I will come like a thief in the night, no one knows the day nor the hour.”

Things like the Ragnarok where the earth just freezes to death… you could see that coming.
Things like a monumental asteroid hurtling toward earth, you could see that coming.
Global warming is slow but predictable and they ignore it until nothing else can be done to stop it, but we see it coming.
It will be unexpected and sudden with no warning that we can discern at all.

    1. I agree. As I understand it, it should be a surprise to all even those who are ready. Blessings, Rebecca! May we be ready for it whenever it occurs.

    1. It all depends on what we think happens after that end. From a Christian perspective (see Revelation), there will be a new heaven and a new earth without the consequences of the fall (see Genesis 3). We should leave nothing undone from that perspective since there is a judgement awaiting us based on our choices. That God loves us and has a plan for our lives is evident from the New Testament. Thank you and blessings, Terre!

      1. So . . . perspective . . . the world is over and there is a new world so whatever was left undone does not matter. Either you will have done what you needed to in order to be a part of the new world or you won’t have . . . . that is how I see it. I guess I am hearing this as there is a list of things you need to do so you have to get everything done and I just think of it as one thing that needs to be done. I guess it is just perspective.
