The cap below is a kind of door that leads to the underground water system.
On this cap/door from Prague is an image of an open door with an arm holding a sword in a defensive posture.
In case that door doesn’t count I’ve included a door from somewhere in the Prague Castle.

I like that cap, Frank. It may be the first door of its kind, but it definitely counts. Bonus that it includes a door in the imagery. The second door is beautiful. You have to wonder about the stories it could tell.

They must have had a reason for including it in the design. Thank you, Dan!

Love this series. Always intrigued by doors that are not rectangular but rounded at the top. Blessings.

I would think, if you have to open it to go through it, it’s a door of some kind. These are both excellent.

That is one tiny lock for such a solid looking door! But I guess that’s all it needs. 🙂

I think it stored some kind of treasury for the castle, but I don’t remember and likely didn’t understand when I was there. Thank you!
