Beware the words that devils say.
Their whispers haunt the soul by day
with wondrous news put on display –
just tell that darkness, “Leave!“

James 1:26 KJV – If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

What a convicting verse from James. Great poem. Blessings.

How many lives have been destroyed and/or ruined by the evil tongues? A word of asdvice is if one partakes in such gossip not only will they be held accountable but they too will be targets once they leave the room!

Good points! They will be held accountable and they have no reason to complain about what is said about them when they leave the room. Blessings and thank you for those insights, Dan!

The tongue can not be tamed. James, Jesus half brother, learned, didn’t he! He just passed on his life’s lessons, till he reached the other side! That’s all we do, till we reach home.

There’s so much “wondrous news” in the paper/news reports each morning, praying against the darkness is the only way to get through a day.
