Below are pictures of doors (mostly door frames since the door is open) leading to the stairway.
The first two are from the fifth floor and last one from the parking area.

The door is open for sure.

I like the “Slow Down” sign above the last door, Frank. I know it’s for traffic, but it made me laugh at the thought that you were about to run up the stairs.

That sign does seem positioned in the wrong place. Blessings, Dan!

Maybe it’s a reminder for people coming DOWN the stairs not to run into the street? It’s a lot easier to get carried away running down the stairs than up, isn’t it?

It certainly is easier to go down those steps than up. I wonder how fast I walk? I hope no one would be racing his car in that small parking area. Blessings and thank you, Rebecca!

Great photos Frank. I like how the sun frames the door entrance. Love the textured details you captured on the walls.

Good point that the sunlight does frame that door making it stand out. Thank you and blessings, Suzette!

These are the stairs up to the cupola of the Duomo in Florence, Italy. 463 Steps. I’m American, so I couldn’t possibly climb all those steps, but I did.

Yes, you can climb those steps and even more than 463 of them. Blessings, Rebecca, and thank you!

It is. And it is high enough to get a good view of the Intracoastal Waterway although the parks are great as well. Blessings, Mimi!

Am liking that long shot of the first open door. A sense of mystery at first glance.

It is my favorite of the three. There is a mystery in that darkened doorframe. Blessings, Pat!

The “Slow Down/Speed Limit” sign made me laugh! I wonder who (or what) they had in mind?!

I think they had to have the sign posted. But it is colorful. I was deliberately making sure it was in the photo no matter what it said. Blessings, Dora, and thank you!
