Emperor Dunklematerie walked down the street in his new clothes which were so finely made that he might have appeared – to the untrained eye – naked.
“I applaud our glorious Emperor who’s not only a brilliant scientist but a connoisseur of the arts,” one well-paid servant of the realm posted with a billion AI-generated likes.
Another showcased the ingenious tailors who fashioned the exquisite clothing out of the “density of the darkest gravity”.
And another remarked how pricelessly expensive those designer clothes were with holes in them everywhere – not just the knees – to cover the Emperor “in the cosmic void itself”.
Unfortunately, once a certain breed of children reach a certain age and before they reach a certain other age when they start thinking like they’re supposed to, there’s not much you can do with them. Thanks to them the whole world got to see AI-manipulated clips of Dunklematerie before their social media accounts where locked.

Denise offers the prompt word “breed” for this week’s Six Sentence Stories.
Proverbs 16:18 KJV – 18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

One of my poems, Words, has been published today in Whispers and Echoes. I am grateful to Sammi Cox for accepting it.
A lot of holes and gaps in this well-crafted story, Frank. So sad, it takes so long to see, sadder still, that some never will.
I find it interesting that Ai in Genesis means house of ruins, and still AI is called AI.
I wrote about it but I don’t think I posted yet. Trying to make it short and sensible enough.

I hadn’t thought of AI and the city Ai together before, but I like the connection, and I also like that Ai means “house of ruins”. Blessings, Mary!

With the font I usually get in messages and such. AI looks like Al, and I was wondering who this Allen Person was that was making up all this weird stuff. I now just use “Ai”, and if they don’t recognize it as House of Ruins, all the better for me.
Now, someone has been communicating with heads of state using an Ai voice replicator that sounds like Marco Rubio. With all the stuff he’s published and recorded, it’s not hard to match his style and vocabulary. So they’ve come up with a way to use Organic intelligence to manipulate Artificial Intelligence and end up with Organic Stupidity. Yup…House of Ruins.

I once heard a YouTube video of a sermon using the voice of Billy Graham, but saying things I don’t think Graham would have said. There was only audio with a still picture of Graham preaching. Many who commented on the video agreed with my suspicions that this wasn’t Graham (and I added a comment to agree with them). I suspect they could also fake the video part, but they didn’t go that far.
Ai/AI is a house of ruins.
Blessings, Rebecca!

It’s certainly a sad state of affairs and we can only hope enough people have their eyes open.

May our eyes be open and may we be grateful for those children who sometimes show the way. Blessings, Mimi!

Oh dear… not good at all, that AI (well, I think that anyway).

If Dunklematerie just wore some real clothes . . . but AI is brainless enough to exaggerate what’s not real. Blessings, Chris!

This is the thrid post I have read this week that references The Emperor’s New Clothes. The first two were likening Trumps sycophant Cabinet members who will do and say anything in effort to stay on his good side- to the towns people who were afraid to tell the king he was naked- and then this one. Kinda makes me wonder if there is a lesson to be learned.

I voted for Trump and I like what he’s doing. Whatever message is here has nothing to do with him.
However, if you look at the name Dunklematerie, that is, “dunkle materie”, and put it in Google Translate, you might get a hint at who the emperor is.
Blessings, Violet!

My comment wasn’t about Trump, it was about having seen three references to the folktale by Hans Christian Anderson The Emperors New Clothes this week. I thank you for the Google idea though cuz I just thought Dunklemater was somebody’s name.

It is also his name. I plan to use him later along with another guy named Professor Weissalles from the University of Noital. Now that I’ve got these characters I figure I better put them to use.
