When Should You Pray For Someone?

Before you pray make sure you know
the Lord loves whom you’re praying for
– and He loves all of us – and so
let love burn pure your heart.

A friend shared this with me. It inspired the poem above. I am now passing it on to you.

  1. I have looked at people who are homeless or addicted or in other sad situations and thought, Your mom didn’t look in your precious newborn eyes and say, “I hope you grow up to be ____.” I pray for them because of the child they once were, what they could have been had someone intervened, how they could have been different if someone had prayed for them sooner, and how it’s not too late.

  2. I love your poem, Frank–it’s so true…we all need prayer, and we’re all loved by the One True God. We can, and should love because He first loved us.

I wanted to ask you something–how would you feel about being the photographer at Bedelia and Finn’s wedding? It’s fiction, so obviously you don’t really have to do anything–but if you agree, I’ll link to your blog. I’m doing this for others who are playing “invisible parts”. I’d love to have you! Rene💖
