A dragon deserves a dark friend
But that damsel is on the light end
And her knight loves to fight
Not for wrong but for right.
There’s his gold, dark, and he can pretend.

A damsel, dragon and knight all in five lines. Nice!

Nothing like a medieval friendship theme. Love it 🙂

Thanks, Miriam. Those knights, damsels and dragons can all be friends, if they want.

Absolutely. I like the sound of that.

For some reason, this limerick reminded me of the hobbit! A very different limerick, Frank!
p.s: apologies for the delay in responding, had to take a break from my blog for the last 2 weeks!

Those Tolkien stories have all of these elements. They also build on medieval stories of damsels, knights and dragons.
No worry about any delay. I’m glad you are doing the limerick challenges. Just providing a prompt is very useful.
