Life’s an opened present.

And we should enjoy it, even if it isn’t what we asked for…

Funny, innit: Life’s an opened present, but you don’t know exactly what it is until you’re about to close it! 🙂

Good point! It takes a lifetime to realize what that present was. Thank you, Marian!

It took me a few moments to let these 4 words to sink in …the word present came to me to mean present moment …it felt very beautiful to read again!

It was intended to mean both the present moment and a present as a gift. A bit confusing. I am glad you liked it, Pragalbha!

I loved it that it meant both ways and enjoyed spending time with your words 🙂

We tend to take our presents for granted at times, don’t we Frank? Your four words go hand-in-hand with “stop and smell the roses.”

Those two phrases likely mean the same thing. Thank you, Mary!

Oh, Frank – I love this! What a gorgeous one-liner on how forgiveness helps us to live life in all its beauty. And the photo illustrates it so well. Where did you take it?
Thank you for this contribution to #ForgivingFridays. It brightens up my day!
Blessings, Debbie

It is a plant, I think it’s called a Morning Glory, that keeps coming back on our patio in a pot year after year. We do save seeds just in case, but it comes back on its own each spring. I am glad you liked this. Thank you, Debbie!

Good one, Frank. It reminds me of Kenko’s observation, “Life’s most precious gift is its uncertainty.”
