We all need forgiveness. What a blessing when the realization of that sinks in. Then repentance can come. With repentance comes change. With change comes the awesome experience of joy knowing we are released from self-centered addictions. With joy we can finally see the whole process as miraculous.

This is one of my fave songs…I think I shared it earlier on my blog. You’re so right about the blessing of understanding we need forgiveness–I was slow in learning and accepting the truth about it, and repentance; but the older I get, the “smarter” and quicker I am about going to God’s throne for assistance with the process of sanctification. I am beyond grateful for God’s patience and mercy toward me.

I think you may have, but I don’t remember. I recently heard it online at Calvary Chapel Miami Beach. That is where we go to church when in Florida. I am also “beyond grateful for God’s patience and mercy toward me.”

I think that’s what counts–that we never take for granted ALL that HE did for us through Jesus’ finished work at the Cross.
