The Red Sea’s calm.
The riddle’s gone.
We praise the Lord
who brings this dawn.
Eugenia offers for this week the prompt “dawning”. As background to the poem see Exodus 14.

Very nice! Sometimes the way of escape is in the very midst of the enemy. God doesn’t tend to repeat an action. He is always doing something new!

Frank, could I ask what WP blog theme you’re using? And whether it’s a free one or not?

I’m using the “Twenty Sixteen” theme. It is a free theme although I do purchase an annual subscription to avoid ads. There may be better themes. I picked one that seemed to have a simple layout.

Thanks! I just switched to the 2012 theme with this new blog–but I don’t like that the links I include in my post hardly show up–they’re pale. I asked WP Support about it, and their response was that because the links are underlined people should be able to see them fine… So I’ll have a look at 2016–and see if I can still fit my header image in okay. Thanks again 🙂

Thanks so much, Frank–I switched mine to your theme, and now the links show up much better, hallelujah! Let me know what you think 🙂 (PS: yes, I purchased the upgrade to avoid ads too, whew!) Blessings to you, L
