A tiny trinket out of jade
deceptively was smoothly made.
I bought it. Why? I do not know.
My dreaming mind said let it go.
I wonder now how much I paid.

I imagine I have lots of little trinkets I need to let go of. Has me thinking.
Blessings.

Your dreaming mind said let it go? It was your conscious mind that caused you to get the trinket, then. The conscious mind decided logically and reasonably to buy this trinket, and the confirmation was emotional which is a subconscious function. So is your dreaming mind letting go of the questions about buying the trinket, or letting the trinket itself go?

I have no idea. Sometimes I wonder if my conscious mind is even rational especially when I do what I don’t want to do (Romans 7:15-20). Blessings and thank you, Rebecca!

We have to learn what things to let go and what things to hold on to. My dreaming mind needs to wake up!

Letting go of trinkets like letting go of unhappy thoughts?

Interesting comparison. Our unhappy thoughts could well be like trinkets we love to hang onto but should let go. Thank you, Eugenia!
