Dale offers the prompt “through an opening” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
These are all older photos over many years. In the first photo, I imagined the clouds making an opening for the sun to shine.
In the second, the rocks made an opening for the plants to grow.
In the third I imagined the cracks between the stones forming the Western Wall in Jerusalem made an opening for petitions.

That’s a great twist on the prompt, Frank, love that fabulous sunset

I like these. My favorite, though, are the plants coming up through the opening. I’ve always marveled at plants that can grow anywhere, a crack in a rock on a cold ocean beach, or in the sidewalks of NYC, it’s all amazing to me.

They amaze me also. They also add a bit of green to brighten up the photo. Thank you, Dawn!

Love every picture. There is always an opening. A few of my prayers are hidden in that wall. Nothing is hid from God’s eye.

Those papers contain prayers or petitions that people place in the joints between the stones of the Western Wall. They are cleaned out yearly and stored (so I’m told) making room for more. Thank you!

Love this Frank. I was about to go see the wall but this war, 10 days before departure put a stop to that plan. A blessing I’m thinking.

We saw it last year for the first and only time. I am glad we were given the opportunity. Thank you, Pat! May you get an opportunity to go there after this war clears up.
