Art For Art’s Sake

Dale offers the prompt “art for art’s sake” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Whatever motivated the creators of what is displayed in these images, as images I imagine them as art for its own sake.

  1. When I read some of the biblical accounts of heaven, I imagine “art for art’s sake”.

Psalm 89:5–7 says, “The heavens praise your wonders, LORD, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the skies above can compare with the LORD? Who is like the LORD among the heavenly beings? In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him.”

    1. Good point about the biblical account of heaven.

When we consider all the galaxies that the space telescopes have imaged, it is amazing what the Lord has done. He knew we would be curious about them and He gave us something amazing to see. Blessings and thank you, Michael!
