Good morning Frank! Your photos are very timely considering snow is starting to fall here in South Jersey but nothing like your photos and the midwest. Take Care. Dan

That was an early, warmer snow with it sticking to the trees. It could easily have turned into rain. Thank you, Dale!

We were warned…3-5″ of snow overnight. Churches closed, events were cancelled.
We got .03″–3-5 flakes. We had a brown Christmas. Normally, by this time 10 years ago, we would have had 2 snow storms dropping 2-4″ each time and a blizzard that dropped 6-8″ We haven’t had more than 5″ total since November, and we used to get snow in October. We haven’t had a blizzard in 3 years.

At the moment I’m in southern Florida, so these photos are from winters-past. It is about 70 degrees Fahrenheit here which reads “perfect” on the Celsius scale. I did enjoy walking through the early and late winter snows when the days were warm and when I took those photos. The snow would cling to the bare trees. It was beautiful. Blessings, Rebecca!

Lovely photos! But it’s a shame when it affects travel and events.

Often those snows are pretty bad. These photos were of an early winter snow when the weather was warm and the snow clung to the trees. Blessings, Esther!

Excellent brother. It is cold here in Atlanta but no snow. I remember my days from Syracuse NY with 150 to to 200 inches. It was beautiful but I do not miss it.

At the moment I am in Florida where the weather is “perfect” on either the Fahrenheit or Celsius scales. However, I remember winters in Maine where I needed to wear snowshoes to get around. Blessings, Michael!

It’s beautiful, from behind a window, next to a fire and with a cup of cocoa. We swamp dwellers do not do well with cold.

Good point. The snow is best viewed from behind a window in a warm house with a hot drink. Blessings, Mimi!
