This is a side-walk type trail along Regent Parkway in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Along the trail there are many beautiful magnolia trees which sometimes have white blossoms along with many other trees, some quite tall.
It’s like walking in the woods with a four-lane road on one side and houses on the other.

I like walking in nature as well. As long as it’s not too hot or cold.

Walks are best when the temperature is just right. I avoid the hot or cold as well. Blessings and thank you, Kim!

the contrast must be enjoyable, i.e. the sound of activity of the highway against the relative peace of trees and houses and such

It is a strange contrast and one can mostly block out the part one doesn’t want to experience at the moment. Blessings, Clark!

Looks and sounds like a wonderful trail. The magnolia blossom is gorgeous and looks like the same type of magnolia that grows in Texas. Those are my favorite blooming tree of all. 😉

Leaving the trees alone and running a road next to them looks like good planning. The magnolias are pretty.

Some of those trees look old. Others, like the magnolias, I think were deliberately planted. Thank you and blessings!
