Trail: Pineville’s Hiking Trail

Near the center of Pineville, North Carolina, is a 0.8 mile hiking trail.

This is the most difficult trail I’ve been on this year, but on a scale of 1-10 it is only a 3. It is not paved. It is only 4 feet wide. It goes up and down through the woods ending at the train tracks.

Nonetheless, the trail is clearly marked and a pleasant walk.

The trail is to the left, trees to the center and right
The trail ends at the train tracks where there is a bridge for the train over Sugar Creek which is low on water this time of year. It is also at the boarder of North Carolina and South Carolina.

I enjoy walking, poetry and short prose as well as taking pictures with my phone.
