One-Liner Wednesday — Happy Halloween

Grounding Change

Change that is rhythmically sound
Reminds us that time runs around
Like a seasonal wheel.
Endless cycles conceal
What is firm giving thanks for the ground.

Written for the Limerick Challenge Week 39: Seasons.

With drops of blood.  I sympathize
With all the modern modes and lies.
It’s changing I find hard.
