What’s Flowering Where You Are

Dale offers the prompt “what’s flowering where you are” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

We are currently travelling in southern Florida between Tampa and Miami. I noticed these while walking on sidewalks in the Miami area.

I don’t know what these plants are or even if they are technically flowers, but they were colorful which drew my attention to them.

I enjoy walking, poetry and short prose as well as taking pictures with my phone.

  1. Beautiful photos! Not much here. My orchids on my window sill are thriving. A begonia in my friend’s house but I haven’t seen too much outside. Waiting for spring to arrive. Nice to see pictures and words what will be.

  2. Wow! They are so beautiful! My husband bought me hyacinths for my birthday as I wait for the spring and the ice to thaw! Beautiful fragrance. I wonder if any these flowers have a scent?!
