Aiming for that Rainbow

This desert road feels lonely.
No cars are going through.
Although the storm has passed us by,
Dark clouds still dominate the sky.
I’ll have to check with you.

The land is bare about us.
Our wasteland’s freshly wet,
But there’s that rainbow still in reach.
New seedlings take a risk and teach
That we’re not over yet.

I enjoy walking, poetry and short prose as well as taking pictures with my phone.

  1. Full of hope, just like a rainbow! I enjoyed it, Frank! Thanks for writing!

You know what happened but I’m still sorry I didn’t read this sooner. I’m just about to post the new images now. I am relieved that last week is over.
