Four lines define the boxy square
That keeps us safely trapped somewhere.
A circle in the ceiling might
Let in wet rain and dry sunlight.
Between these squares and circles we
Live out our dreams for harmony.

Existence neatly defined. One may want to fly away from the hole in the ceiling 🙂

Thank you, Reena! I was thinking of flying away through the ceiling when writing that.

I love your poems, Frank, this one reminds me a lot of Spike Milligan, one of my heroes. Lovely photos, too.

I found quotes of Spike Milligan. He is very good: https://www.brainyquote.com/authors/spike_milligan
Those are the kind of one-liner’s I wish I could come up with.

Dancing Singing
Rules For Safety; Lines Pages Straight.
Freedom Spirals Out Covers.. Pages..
And
