Seagulls

Seagulls 
Attracted by the morning sun
And by the people who
Toss wondrous crumbs into the sky
That every bird with brains must try.
What else is there to do?
This is why I don't feed the birds, but I love it when others do.

  2. A few years ago we were in California and husband wanted to see at least one sunset over the Pacific so we were in Monterey…and people were feeding the gulls. I got so wrapped up in watching that I almost missed the sunset!
