I feel as if I ought to send A warning out to one and all: Beyond the bend's a cliff, a fall, A tragedy, a blur, a blend Into a gorgeous, awful end. And then inconsequentially What would become of you and me? Ah! Let it come here anyway. Yes, Come tomorrow. Come today! Embrace the opportunity.
Linked to Ronovan Writes Décima Poetry Challenge where the challenge is to use “blend” as a rhyming word in the A lines. The poem has ten lines with rhyme pattern ABBAACCDDC.

That is your duty Frank my dear
The red light to us all to show
Important warnings that you know.
To save us from what we all fear
Rescue us from danger so near
Such perils lie for us in wait
It’s clear we can’t escape our fate.
Danger and knowledge are the blend
To die is our ultimate end
Keep us safe the Reaper can wait.

Frank, I like your style and content in poetry that is simple enough for me to understand first time then read a second time just because I like the sound.
