Blend

Tree
I feel as if I ought to send
A warning out to one and all:
Beyond the bend's a cliff, a fall,
A tragedy, a blur, a blend
Into a gorgeous, awful end.
And then inconsequentially
What would become of you and me?
Ah! Let it come here anyway.
Yes, Come tomorrow. Come today!
Embrace the opportunity.

  1. That is your duty Frank my dear
The red light to us all to show
    Important warnings that you know.
To save us from what we all fear
Rescue us from danger so near
Such perils lie for us in wait
It’s clear we can’t escape our fate.
Danger and knowledge are the blend
To die is our ultimate end
Keep us safe the Reaper can wait.
