Behold the snow. Behold the tree.
It’s getting old this mystery
of why stuff likes to stay so cold.
Away! Begone! Let spring unfold.
Eugenia offers “winter” for this week’s prompt.

Love your poem, Frank–and like the spots of blue amid the white in your photo.

A lovely poem, Frank. I would love to have snow, just once.

It is beautiful especially when warm enough to stick together. Thank you, Robbie!

We’ve had cold weather in my neck of the woods but no snow – yet! Beautiful poem and photos, Frank! Thank you for joining in.

The photos are from a couple years ago. At the moment it is about 70 degree Fahrenheit in southern Florida. I kind of miss the snow. Thank you, Eugenia!

I have seen this kind of beautiful snow just once maybe and I am trying to remember how it felt 🙂 Beautiful poem.

When it is warm the snow sticks together and builds up on the trees. Then it can be beautiful. Thank you, Pragalbha!

I wish I could say Spring Unfold here — but we’ve still got at least 2 (more likely 3) months of winter before spring even begins to show its first buds!
Your poem is delightful as are your photos.

I took those photos a couple of years ago and the weather was relatively warm so the snow could pack some. Thank you, Louise!
